Peacefully surrounded by his loving family at home on Tuesday July 5, 2011, Charles “Charlie” Anthony Formosa, age 60, of Chatham, beloved husband of Donna (Foster) Formosa.
Born in Windsor in 1951, cherished son of Alfred and Christina (Berwolski) Formosa of Chatham. Loving father of Stacey (Steve) Bailie and Ryan (Lindsay) Formosa. Papa to Sydnee, Isabelle, Lucas and Bree Bailie, Shelby, Dominik and baby on the way Formosa. Dear brother of Mark (Mary Jo) Formosa of Kingston, Veronica Formosa (Jay Gagner) of Chatham and Diane (David) Vershraegen of Kitchener. Brother-in-law of Debbie and Doug Deneau, Blair and Leanne Foster, Randy and Cathy Foster, Bonita and Tom Titus and many nieces and nephews. Son-in-law of Violetta Foster and the late Leroy Foster.
Friends and relatives may visit at the Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham on Thursday July 7, 2011 from 2 – 4 pm and 7 – 9 pm, where Parish Prayers will be offered at 3 pm.
Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated on Friday July 8, 2011 at 10 am in St. Ursula’s Church.
Burial will be in St. Anthony’s Cemetery. Donations to The Terry Fox Foundation would be appreciated.
