At Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, on Tuesday, January 10, 2012, Olga Ulianna Malyk, age 87 of Chatham. Beloved wife of the late Dmytro Malyk (2009). Born in the Ukraine in 1924, daughter of the late Maria and Hrynio Jacyshyn.
Loving mother of Mary Surita (Henk Jacobs) of Chatham. Dearest grandmother of Nadia Surita (Wes Moore) of London, Taras (Rae Ann) Surita of Chatham and great grandmother of Beatrice Grace, Ethan, and Kayla Naomi Surita. Also survived by one brother in Belarus. Predeceased by her grandson Ivan Surita (1998) and her brothers and sisters in the Ukraine.
Friends and relatives may visit at the Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham on Thursday, January 12, 2012 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A Chapel Service will be conducted in the funeral home on Friday, January 13, 2012 at 11 a.m. with Fr. Eugene Halitsky celebrating. Burial will be in St. Anthony’s Cemetery.
