Obituary of Albina Coslovich

Peacefully, at her home, surrounded by family and friends, on Saturday, February 4, 2017, Albina Coslovich, age 88, of Chatham, reunited with her beloved husband the late Ettore Coslovich (2012). Born in Istria, Italy, on August 7, 1928, daughter of the late Maria (Greblo) and Giocomo Medizza. Loving mother to her children, Dorina Rivard, and Roy (Shirley) Coslovich, her grandchildren, Eric (Terra) Haynes, Drake, Garrett, Carter, Megan, Jamey-Lyn (Brent) and Audrey (Cody) and great grandmother to mio piccolo Haysh Haynes, Soren, Sam, Marcie and Donovan. Also survived by her sister and brother-in-law Anita and Glen Stone of Jacksonville, Florida. Predeceased by all her brothers and sisters. Albina immigrated to Canada from Italy in 1960. Her #1 goal in life was to spend time with family and friends and she showed her affection through cooking. She was also an avid gardener. Friends and relatives may visit at the Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham (519-352-5120) on Wednesday, February 8, 2017 from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 pm, where Vigil Prayers will be offered at 7 pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, February 9, 2017 at 11 am in St. Joseph’s Church. Burial will be in St. Anthony’s Cemetery. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada would be appreciated.
