Peacefully, at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, on Saturday March 18, 2017, Steve Joseph Lucyk, age 84, of Chatham, beloved companion of Betty Parliament and husband of the late Judy Lucyk(1986).
Born in Chatham in 1933, son of the late Anna (Romaniw) and Nick Lucyk .
Loving father of Nadja Lucyk (Colin Seney) and Nate (Andrea) Lucyk and stepdaughter Tammie Pieterson. Cherished grandfather of Bianca Seney, Sophia Lucyk and Jacob Pieterson. Dear brother of Stella VanDeWynckel Gleeson (Jack) and a cousin Steve Lucyk Jr. aka Little Steve.
Friends and relatives may visit at the Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham (519-352-5120) on Wednesday March 22, 2017 from 3 – 5 and 7 – 9 pm, where Vigil Prayers will be offered at 7:30 pm. A Service will be held in the Chapel of the Funeral Home on Thursday March 23, 2017 at 1 pm with Fr. Eugene Halitsky officiating.
Burial will be in St. Anthony’s Cemetery.
Donations to V.O.N. or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
