Obituary of James Patrick O'Hara

Peacefully, at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, on Saturday, September 16, 2017, James Patrick O'Hara, age 89, of Chatham, beloved husband of Marie (Jacques).

Born in Ireland, son of the late Mary and Owen O'Hara.  

He is survived by his children, Sandra (John) Mailloux of Chatham, Barbara Sedlacek of Amhurstburg, Karen O’Hara, and Janet O’Hara both of Chatham, his grandchildren, Christopher, Jonathan (Meghan), and Jessica Sedlacek, Casey, Ashley O’Hara, and Amber Mailloux.   Also survived by many nieces and nephews. 

Predeceased by his sisters, Bridget O’Hara and Rose McGivern, brothers, John, Hugh, Mike and Owen O’Hara.

 James worked for many years at the Campbell Soup Company. 

Friends and relatives may visit at the Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham (519-352-5120) on Monday, September 18, 2017 from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 pm, where Vigil Prayers will be offered at 3 pm.

 A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at 10 am in St. Ursula's Church.

 Burial will be in St. Anthony's Cemetery.

Donations to the Diabetes Association or the Chatham Kent Hospice Foundation would be appreciated.
