Peacefully at Riverview Gardens Nursing Home, Chatham, on Thursday, September 28, 2017, Dmytro Bardyla at the age of 91.  Beloved husband of Weronika (Najdzion) Bardyla.

 Born in the Ukraine in  1926, son of the late Katarzyna and Jan Bardyla.  Loving father of  Roman (Jacqui) Bardyla of London, Walter (Luann) Bardyla and Jean (Phil) McCracken both of Chatham.

  Dearest grandfather of Jason, Amy, Dan (Tiffany), Ryan (Jan), Alicia, Mark and great grandchildren Liam, Kayleigh, Logan and Layla.  Predeceased by his brothers and sisters; Joseph, Andrew, Anthony, Peter, Antonina and Maria.

  Dmytro was a Cantor and proud member of St. Anne’s Ukranian Catholic Church and helper to the community for many years.  He was a Supervisor at Daymond Aluminum and also enjoyed fishing and being a handyman and carpenter. 

Friends and relatives may visit at the Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham (519-352-5120) on Monday, October 2, 2017 from 2 – 4 pm and 7 – 9 pm, where Vigil Prayers will be offered at 7 pm.  Funeral will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at 11 am in the chapel of the funeral home.

 Burial will be in St. Anthony's Cemetery.

Donations to Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation would be appreciated.
