Peacefully at Riverview Gardens Nursing Home, Chatham, on December 28, 2017, Maria Meriano, age 94.  Beloved wife of the late Mariano Meriano (2011).  Born in Castelvere, Italy in 1923.  Daughter of the late Emelia Di Dio.  

Loving mother of Antonio (Jane) Meriano, Geraldine (Loris) Sandre, John Meriano (Brenda LeClair), Marilena (Robert) VanDenDool and Susan Meriano (Ken Griffiths).  Dearest grandmother of 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.  She is also survived by her brother Mike (Carmela) Bocchino and many nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by her brothers John and Pasquale Bocchino.      

Friends and relatives may visit at the Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham (519-352-5120) from 10 AM - 12 PM on Wednesday, January 3, 2018.  Funeral Service will follow at 12 PM in the chapel of the Funeral Home.  Cremation will follow. 

A Memorial Mass will be held in Riverview Gardens Nursing Home (519 King St. W.) on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at 10 AM and burial of ashes will follow in St. Anthony’s Cemetery at 1 PM. 

Donations to Local Charity of Choice would be appreciated.
