Judy and Gerry are beyond the nicest and welcoming people I have ever met. Friendly, warm, caring, thoughtful, loving and the list could go on.
Judy was the sweetest lady with the purest heart. She always made me feel welcomed and wanted. I remember at a Christmas family gathering, I was overwhelmed with her generosity and kindness. She loved her family and was so proud. Her amazing dinners were a reflection of that love for them and cherished family time. Judy was so easily pleased and bursted with appreciation no matter how small the gesture. I remember one Thanksgiving when my turkey didn’t cook in time and dinner was over 2 hours late. Judy & Gerry cracked jokes and we ended up having a laugh - it was the best time ever. Speaking of turkey, it was Judy who introduced me to and got me hooked on those Butterball boxed turkeys. She was the best cook and I know it was a lot of work but it was clear, her efforts were a true labour of love. Judy and Gerry brought me some flowers from their garden in Chatham to my garden here in London. I love them and they grow bigger and more beautiful every year. Now they are spreading just like Judy who spread her beauty, kindness and love where ever she was. When my ex-husband passed away, Judy and Gerry travelled a long way to show their love and support to me. I’ll never forget how much their presence meant to me during that difficult time. I will always be grateful.
Last Christmas, I sent her a “Happy Birthday” message because how could I ever forget Christmas Day was her birthday!?! I’ll never forget and I’ll never forget her.
My heart is heavy and the world feels more sad knowing Judy is no longer in it. My love, thoughts & prayers go out to Gerry, Bert, Terry, Lisa, Jake, Ashley, Kali, Kristen & family and all those who knew and loved Judy. There are no words I can offer to ease this sad loss but please know this loss, sadness and pain you feel is a shared one. I cherish the memories and she will never be forgotten and remembered for the amazing mother, nana, friend and woman she was.
Please accept my sincerest and deepest condolences to you all.
Godspeed.
