Sweet cousin: I have just heard of your passing today! My heart is broken, for your family, and for you! We were very close many years ago when we were young. You and your brothers and sisters came often to visit us in Sarnia, with your mom , Aunt Bernice and my Uncle Jack! I reconnected in the few years with you, catching up about each others lives! We should have done that so much sooner though. I know that you were a great wife, a loving mom and a so very proud Grandmother! Your life was a very loving one and I know you will be truly missed by all! Rest sweet Lady. One day we will see each other again! Love Nancy

Jerry, please accept my sincerest condolences in the loss of Judy. She was always so warm and welcoming to Wayne and I when we first came into Mitchells Bay. And sadly we lost touch over the past years. Judy is now your family’s guardian Angel. Brenda Bishop

Aunt Judy will be missed by myself, Emily, Tyler and Mariah. She was always there if you needed her no questions asked. You never went hungry at Aunt Judy’s with her delicious meals. She also always had very comfy beds. Love always.

Aunt Judy was a great person, I especially enjoyed her phenomenal cooking and baking. Often times she would bring goodies, or let me take some goodies home with me! We will miss her dearly! Love, Ross and Maddy

All of the time that we took for granted Thinking tomorrow’s just another day Sun on your face with the windows open I Never got the chance to say I know your wings are getting heavy You can let go when you’re ready To fly Fly I know we’ll meet between heaven and the sky I.. I’ll try I’m gonna try to find the good after goodbye Butterfly You come down to visit your favorite flower Catching the wind in the light of day You keep sending me bittersweet reminders Signs You’re never really far away You know I will always need you I feel better when I see you Fly Fly I know we’ll meet between heaven and the sky I.. I’ll try I’m gonna try to find the good after goodbye Butterfly.. Butterfly.. Fly.. Til next time Butterfly.. Butterfly Fly.. Til next time

Sweet Nana Judy, Thank you for choosing me to be one of your grandchildren, you met me when I was only 3 years old, accepted me into your family showing me love and kindness from the very beginning. The love you had for our family was deeply felt by all that had the honour of being in your presence. You were always more concerned about everyone else in the room than of yourself, always making sure there was enough food to feed everyone at the dinner table plus a few (hundred) more, you never left Nana's hungry. Evie Rose will be forever grateful to have had you in her life and to feel the love you gave her, she says she is sad right now and wishes she could see you again and give you a hug and say "I Love You". Great Grandpa Jerry will I'm sure continue to love her and sweet Kali with the same warmth and kindness, sprinkled with some fun to keep the legacy of you in their hearts always. We will miss you Nana, so very much xo Kristen, Bobby & Evie Rose

In the vale of tears, we bid goodbye to Judith, a beacon of faith and emblematic love. An incarnation of thoughtfulness, she braved life's storms with unyielding courage. Her pivotal role in shaping our lives is immeasurable. As my dear husband's grandmother, Judith graced my existence and illuminated our path. We revered this extraordinary lady for her ceaseless altruism; she always placed others before herself. Knowing such a generous spirit adds a measure of honor to our lives.

Judy has been an inspirational figure in my life since I was very young. I may not have always understood the lessons at first, but she had the foresight to know that one day, I would learn from her example and it would be the right time. She's been one the strongest and yet kindess souls I've ever known. She never stopped guiding those whom she loved, and her fortitude to continue to do so until the very moment she left us will continue to inspire me for the rest of my life. I am certain that her love will follow those she cared about until their story needs to be told as well. Thank you for loving and teaching me Judy, even when I hadn't deserved it or wasn't capable of receiving it. I will miss you very much.

I'll never forget all the times my Nanna caught me doing something I wasn't supposed to be doing. She never really gave me trouble but would say you better hope your grandpa don't find out. Il never forget her cooking......always good and brought the family together. More than anything I'll never forget you Nana. You showed me love I've never felt because a grandmothers love is a grandmothers love. You were always there for me when I needed you the most, even if I was in trouble. When I was sick you'd ask do you have a temp and immediately give me medicine and of course make me something hott. I could go on forever. Life if funny you know. Somedays days feel long but the reality is we all have an expiration date so please make everyday count. I love you Nana. I will see you again in this life or the next. Love your grandson Jake. Xxxooo

Judy and Gerry are beyond the nicest and welcoming people I have ever met. Friendly, warm, caring, thoughtful, loving and the list could go on. Judy was the sweetest lady with the purest heart. She always made me feel welcomed and wanted. I remember at a Christmas family gathering, I was overwhelmed with her generosity and kindness. She loved her family and was so proud. Her amazing dinners were a reflection of that love for them and cherished family time. Judy was so easily pleased and bursted with appreciation no matter how small the gesture. I remember one Thanksgiving when my turkey didn’t cook in time and dinner was over 2 hours late. Judy & Gerry cracked jokes and we ended up having a laugh - it was the best time ever. Speaking of turkey, it was Judy who introduced me to and got me hooked on those Butterball boxed turkeys. She was the best cook and I know it was a lot of work but it was clear, her efforts were a true labour of love. Judy and Gerry brought me some flowers from their garden in Chatham to my garden here in London. I love them and they grow bigger and more beautiful every year. Now they are spreading just like Judy who spread her beauty, kindness and love where ever she was. When my ex-husband passed away, Judy and Gerry travelled a long way to show their love and support to me. I’ll never forget how much their presence meant to me during that difficult time. I will always be grateful. Last Christmas, I sent her a “Happy Birthday” message because how could I ever forget Christmas Day was her birthday!?! I’ll never forget and I’ll never forget her. My heart is heavy and the world feels more sad knowing Judy is no longer in it. My love, thoughts & prayers go out to Gerry, Bert, Terry, Lisa, Jake, Ashley, Kali, Kristen & family and all those who knew and loved Judy. There are no words I can offer to ease this sad loss but please know this loss, sadness and pain you feel is a shared one. I cherish the memories and she will never be forgotten and remembered for the amazing mother, nana, friend and woman she was. Please accept my sincerest and deepest condolences to you all. Godspeed. Janice
