There are not enough words to describe how wonderful of a person Nick was. We worked together at Pro Clean many years ago and we became lifelong friends. Whenever I got scheduled to work with Nick, I knew it was going to be a great night. We had so many laughs and he was a hard worker. An 8 hour shift was never enough time with Nick, so we spent a lot of time together outside of work. After Nick's passing and seeing the tributes pour in, I see that everyone has the same thing to say about Nick. He was always there for anyone, including me. My last memory of us together, he came to help me out with a job and before we parted ways I got one of those big Nick Stuart hugs and I will cherish that hug forever. So much could be learned from Nick. Nick taught me that we all have a soul inside of us that longs to be heard, accepted and loved just as we are. He lived his life to the fullest and on his own terms. His heart was as big as his smile and he proved yet again that God only takes the best. My deepest sympathies to his parents and brother. Please know your son was an amazing person inside and out and you should be truly proud that he was yours. Fly high beautiful boy. Shana Tunstall

In the 25ish years that I knew Nick, he grew alot as a person. He was always a kind soul,constantly thinking of others. His sense of humor may not have been for everyone, but it made him pleasure to be around. He was someone you could count on to be there when you needed him most. We didn't talk all the time, as usual life seems to get in the way. I have vivid memories of sitting in the back seat while Nick was taught how to drive my mom's manual Ford Tempo. It was a very entertaining thing to watch him bunny hop it across the campus parking lot. I moved to Windsor before i could drive. He used to come out in the old Crown Vic just to hang out, grab a coffee or go to the show. I remember when he got Hershey. It was like he was a new parent, attentive patient and proud. We went to Niagara Falls for his 40th birthday celebration. At the butterfly Conservatory, he had butterflies hitching a ride on him as we walked around. We didn't get a chance to enjoy the Niagara Speedway as it was closed due to weather. If i ever get back there i will be thinking about Nick for sure.

I am very sorry for your loss. I only met Nick about 10 years ago but he immediately went out of his way to be a kind, thoughtful and helpful friend. I'm not sure if he could tell that I may have needed one at that time or more likely just his friendliness to all that brought us to be friends but either way Nick was the definition of a reliable friend that would be there for almost anyone at a moments notice. I thinks most of his spare time was used helping his friends in some way or checking up on them. I feel like I got to know Nick pretty well I spent a lot of hours traveling around with him all over the province for for all kinds of reasons and I think that was where I got to know him the best and where he seemed happiest, driving on a road trip. I think Nick played a very similar role in many peoples lives, helping where he could and being a positive influence, more than anybody realizes, I thinks its just starting to become apparent to me anyway that Nick has been the same nice guy for the 33 years he was around before I knew him and I know there's a lot of people today that feel like they lost they're best friend. Nick was a wonderful person that made everyone feel better no matter what happened. He always had a smile and a snarky comment but he was always very caring and loving towards all. He was a sensitive man but he hid it very well. A good memory of him is with Milo and Hershey. We went to Wheatley park with the dogs and walked around with them. I got so many amazing pictures of him and his pups and even though he claims that he wasn’t a fan of Milo I can definitely say different because behind closed doors he was always caught snuggling with her. Till we meet again my friend, take care of our fur baby and I will be there when my time comes. ❤️
