Amy's effervescence brightened even the darkest shelter corners. Her generosity was as infectious as her humor, warming hearts big and small - my son's didn't stand a chance! Tirelessly thoughtful, she'd usher out the morning by greeting us with kindness. Oh, how we'll miss her optimism and interesting tales; they rolled happiness into somber hallways. Tanika, your mother’s selflessness leaves an imprint on many lives — especially ours. Until we cross paths again Amy, dance amidst stars in peace.

Reflecting on Amy's lively spirit, her contagious laughter illuminated our lives in a profound way. Bravery, wisdom and an undying passion for life defined her. Her interesting personality and unfaltering friendliness were hallmarks of her being. Despite her occasional tumultuous demeanor, she remained deeply altruistic at heart. She was indeed more than just decent; she was extraordinary. We will miss the radiance she brought to our existence each day.
