Today we say goodbye to my best friend for over 30 years. My heart goes out to James and his family as they go through this journey and he plays his final big brother role. Mary Catherine was as solid as they come. Her determination, loyalty and LOVE knew no bounds. Her love of cooking and baking was something we always enjoyed together especially when Julie was around and the 3 of us would destroy a kitchen. She loved sewing too....MC was always there if I needed something hemmed or moved or....or...or. Her proudest accomplishments were getting her College Diploma in Food Services and working her butt off to get her dream job. She was patient and always knew what she had to do. Wether we were going to school, out for bike rides, or getting married...life was always there together. You were always in my heart dear friend. I was always here for you. I hope you and Julie are having a blast and you're at peace with yourself! Miss you so much...always have.

I am sorry to hear of the passing of Mary-Catherine. I worked with Mary-Catherine at Sunnyside Home from 2000-2016 and she did her best to ensure the residents nutritional needs were met. She was a loyal and dedicated staff member and will be missed by many. Rest in peace Mary-Catherine. Barbara Collins
