Mom,
Words will never express the pain I am feeling. So many memories are flooding my head; good, bad, funny and sad. I remember you and dad taking me to the park, watching me do gymnastics and swimming in my kiddie pool in our backyard. I remember my purple satin blanket you bought me that I loved so much; I’d use it to sleep on the pull out couch at our house on Wellington because I was too afraid to sleep upstairs in my own room
When dad passed…….everything changed but, somehow I thought I’d have you forever.
You were there when I found out I was pregnant for the first time, excited with the next and extra special when the twins were born on your birthday.
We had very many ups and downs but at the end of the day, you are my mom…the reason I am here….the reason my babies are here and I will be forever thankful to you.
We spent so much time dancing; you know, I always make sure my kids know you are the reason I love to sing and dance so much!
When grandma died…I watched you cry and scream for her, I now completely understand why. Losing you, is like losing my own life, because without you here, how am I supposed to go on? I thought we had more time mom! I am so very sorry, I love you and I will never EVER stop missing you!
I forever hold close to my heart the true you , not trying to hurt your feelings sis but I put a lot of salt on my onions and meat cause I knew you won’t eat it with so much salt. lol . But sis you know I tore them onions up anyways. I’m gonna really miss that , sis you wanna go out , you hell yeah sis, but I ain’t got no money , me don’t worry I got u , or me saying the same and u having my back. No matter how much we got on each other’s nerves we was always next day laughing our asses off about the night we had before and saying what we wouldn’t do again . All jokes set aside I’m real missing you. I’m trying my best to be strong and shade no tears but damn , you would be the one who could light up a dark room and do your thing like no boddies business . We laughed we cried we eat we drank we joked we were ride a dies. I can only lean into God ‘s understanding cause mine is not adding up or connecting the dots. I know just as much as I hurt that you are gone home , I am happy cause you are in a better place ,until we meet again I will watch in the skies for your smiling face and those beautiful blue green eyes. Miss you much your sister Cindy
Serenity Blenheim Independent Living planted a tree in memory of Carolin Brown
Aunty Carolin you were there for my entire life and for the longest minute we have been thick as thieves. I don’t know what I’m gonna do without you from our crazy beach days and our crazy party nights to busting a dance and showing Them young ones how an Oldie gets down, to our sleepovers. I’m gunna miss your firecracker attitude and how every week when I would see you, you greeted me as if you hadn’t seen me in months. I’m also going to miss our dr trips and monthly visits to the vampires (lab) to you telling me who was pissing you off and how you always told them “my name is Carolin Brown and I don’t mess around.” You were unconsciously someone who always made me laugh, and who told someone like it TIS! I’ll love u for always and miss you forever!
Sleep in the sweetest of peace Aunty.
