I remember her teaching me in grade 3 at St. Vincent school in the mid 60s. For Christmas she gave all the boys a Tie clip and I believe the girls received a necklace. I still have my tie clip and use it on occasion. Sorry for your loss.

I knew Mary initially through my life long friends Walt and Tad. I know she was like a second mother to them. More recently we had spoken with her at a friend’s house party. I remember her as being very warm and friendly.
She will be missed.

To the Wolanski Family:
I am so saddened to learn of Mary’s passing. The last time our paths had crossed was when she was visiting your mother at Maple City Residence & I was visiting a relative also. We always had good conversations & she always carried a big smile. I only learned of her health struggles recently & wish her eternal peace. My prayers for the family!

Mary will be missed. She was always so joyful and full of life. However, it was her faith in God that got her through this mission in life. She knew that she would be reunited with her family, and never did she doubt this. She knew that her life was in Gods hands and gracefully accepted her fate in life. She is HOME now, free from pain and so happy and healthy. God bless and hug you Mary. Until later, Lora.

Mary was always up for an adventure and loved to travel. Two years ago, the 2 of us enjoyed a week in Cuba. It was paradise! One of our days was spent by taking a day trip to Havana. We had so much fun with our private guide.
I was very blessed to have known Mary for many
years. Rest in peace.

It was an early Spring storm, if remembering correctly, around 1963, maybe April. Memory is not always exact. The hydro went out at 42 Coverdale Street, as a classic Southern Ontario storm swept through. Dark, damp, cold, and wind howling, as thunder clasped, and lightning flashed. You took Tad and me to the basement with lit candles, and we recited our Polish Roman Catholic prayers. The glow of the candles set our hope and faith on fire- we were protected. Etched in our memories forever, a simple act of love, eternally grateful.- Walter
