
Obituary of Jules Baribeau
Jules Baribeau who just celebrated his 90th birthday with his family, passed away peacefully on Thursday February 6th at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance.
Born in Quebec on January 1st, 1935, son of the late Alida (Valliere) and Hormidas Baribeau was the youngest of 10 children and last to pass on.
Beloved husband for 70 years to Marcelle (Gauthier) Baribeau. Loving father to Serge (Cécile), Jean-Marc (Deborah), Denis (Teresa Traynor deceaced 2024) Nicole Vandermolen (Ross Leeson deceaced 2023) and Pierre (Colleen)
He will be fondly remembered by his 18 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren.
Predeceased by his son Normand (1980) and grandson Richard (2006).
Jules was an amazing man dedicated to his family and friends. He enjoyed spending time with all, whether it be camping, boating, joking around and just having fun. He was always willing to lend a helping hand in any way he could. A man you could count on.
As were Jules wishes, cremation has taken place.
A funeral mass will be held on March 22, 2025 at 11 am in Immaculée Conception Church, Pain Court with a reception to follow.
The Hinnegan-Peseski Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham is in charge of arrangements.
