Obituary of Helen McDougall

Helen M McDougall (nee Hajek) passed away peacefully on February 28, 2025 at Riverview Gardens at the age of 93.  Helen was the daughter of the late Joseph and Ann Hajek.  Beloved wife of the late Dean McDougall (1996).

Dear Mother of Dean McDougall (Sasha) of Kingsville and Darren McDougall (Anita) of Chatham.  Sadly missed by grandchildren Cullen, McKenna & Camden, along with step-grandchildren Aiden, Ella & Brandon.

Predeceased by her sister Mary Polacek and twin brother Joseph, along with several nieces and nephews. 

Friends and relatives may visit at the Hinnegan Peseski Funeral Home Ltd., 156 William St. S. Chatham on Monday March 3rd from 6-8 PM. A funeral mass will be held at Blessed Sacrament Church on Tuesday March 4th at 10 am.   

Following the Church mass, burial will take place at the New St. Anthony Cemetery. 

The McDougall family wish to express their gratitude for the wonderful care that Helen received from the Nursing staff at Riverview Gardens on 5 East & the amazing medical care from Dr Anthony Dixon & Dr Colin McCabe.
