Dear Daniella, Joanna, and Erica,
I was so saddened to return from a trip to Portugal today to read that your mother had passed away. I never met a more caring and beautiful spirit than your mom. She made me feel so welcome at Harwich-Raleigh, and I loved watching how she guided and nurtured those little people in her Kindergarten classes. Please accept my sincere condolences. You were truly blessed to have had such a wonderful mother.

My sister-in-law Lucy, will be missed at all our family and holiday celebrations. In her quiet refined way she made sure to acknowledge everyone and always gravitated towards the grandkids keeping them occupied and happy. There is now a huge void in our family. Lucy will live in the hearts of her children, her husband, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
She is now resting in peace.

I first met Mrs Iannicello early in her teaching career. She had a large impact on me as a student . I never forgot her quiet voice and warm encouraging smile . I was very happy to reconnect as an adult with Lucy. Same warm smile and lovely soul. She was a beauty and I was very thankful to have known her. Condolences to her family

When friends become family. We have been blessed to have known Lucy for 34 years. Our lives were intertwined in many ways. Neighbours first then friends then family. Lucy was the kindest person we’ve ever met. Always asking how everyone around her was doing. Always putting everyone else first. We were always in awe of her relationship with her children but even more so with her grandchildren. They were the light of her life. With her cancer diagnosis, she was always positive and optimistic and never complained. She put up an incredible fight. We are so grateful for all the time and memories together and will cherish them forever. We love you. Love Brian and Lorna

She touched so many children’s lives throughout the years. As my first teacher ever, my five year old brain still remembers how kind and loving she was with all of us. One such memory includes one of my classmates crying and her hugging her to make her feel better. It’s funny what you remember.
Sincerely, Kathryn Vander Pryt (Steel)
