Peacefully at Riverview Gardens on Thursday March 6, 2025, Charles Francis Zimmer, age 91.  Born in Chatham on June 12, 1933, son of the late Hazel (Devon) and Wilfred Zimmer.  He will be sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews. 

 

Predeceased by his sisters Mary Marchand and Grace Zimmer and his brothers Jack and Patrick (Rosemary) Zimmer. 

 

At Charles request there will be no funeral home visitation.  Friends and relatives are asked to meet at St. Joseph’s Church on Monday March 10, 2025 for a funeral mass at 11 AM. 

 

Cremation will follow and burial will take place in the spring. 

 

Special thanks to the staff at Eden Villa and Riverview Gardens for their wonderful care. 

 

Donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
