Bruce and my (Linda's) thoughts and prayers are with Connie's family in her passing.
Some of my memories were spending time as a child with Connie when they lived in Blenheim. My father and her father were brothers, so we would visit often. I also remember as a young adult taking Connie on car rides, when she was a young mother. There would be Connie, baby Vicky and myself. We would spend hours chatting about life and laughing about silly things that may have happened. As both of our lives became busy with young families, unfortunately we drifted apart.
I was happy to have attended a cousin/aunt luncheon with her and others last fall, and recently a week before she passed I had the pleasure to visit with her in Meadow Park Nursing home. I am so very thankful that visit came about.
We pray that Connie's brothers, sisters, daughters, and families will find peace in her passing, and know she is now in the loving arms of our dear Savior and Lord.
Her memories will live on in our hearts forever.
Rest in Peace Dear Cousin!

Q: What will you miss most about Connie?
A: The things that I would miss the most about Connie, would be the smile that was always there when she sees me, the affectionate greetings I always get. She was a wonderful person to me. It was an honor to have known her.

Vicky, Lisa, Joann, I have many old memories of your mom/ my cousin as a child. Our parents would bring us to Blenheim to visit with family and we would all play together. Lately, I have been so blessed to enjoy our cousins / aunts at our monthly Dauphin luncheons. It has been a time to catch up with life and I know Connie looked forward to these luncheons, even recently at the nursing home. I will miss her smile, and loving personality.

Q: How did you meet Connie?
A: To the family... we our so sorry for your loss. Its Stephanie and Marty. We have alot of memories with your mom and Chance with the birds too. She was a wonderful lady and loved her pets. We met her when Chance was a small puppy on Delaware Ave. We became friends then became neighbors and co workers. Our dogs would run back and forth between our apartments. She was always there to help everyone no matter what and liked to drive fast.
