Wife of late husband, Godofredo de Oliveira Cabral.

Dear mother of Ricardo Jorge Cabral (Gorety), Fatima Cabral (Eric Gregor) and Elisabete Torres Cabral.

She will be greatly missed by her brothers: Cesar Torres, Jose Francisco Torres and Joao Torres; and extended family.

Predeceased by her sister Maria Rosa Teves brothers Eddy Torres, Nelson Torres, Manual Torres, sister Margarida Borges, and parents Margarida de Jesus Teves Torres and Cesar Reserdes Torres.

Zelia was a hardworking woman and took pride in her home. She was generous and always wanted her guests to be well fed. “Comer, sente aqui” (Eat, sit here”).

Friends and relatives may visit at the Hinnegan Peseski Funeral Home Ltd., 156 William St. S. Chatham from 4-6 PM on Wednesday March 26, 2025.  A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday March 27, 2025 at 10 AM in St. Joseph's Church.

Entombment will follow in Maple Leaf Mausoleum.

In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to Heart and Stroke or Alzheimer’s Society.
