Obituary of Angeline "Angie" Van Daele

Passed away peacefully at Riverview Gardens, Chatham, with her family by her side at the age of 89. She was born in Chatham in 1935, daughter of the late Leo Gyssels and Marie Serruys.

 Beloved wife of AimeVan Daele of Chatham since July 9, 1955.

Proud mother of Randy (Lise) Van Daele, Ken (Christine) Van Daele and Larry (Polly) Van Daele.

Also loved by her grandchildren Christopher, Alexandra, Larissa, Lucas, Emily, Laura, and Julia, and four great grandchildren Luna, Sebastian, Raeya, and Sophie.

Predeceased by sisters; Jeannie Gyssels, Irene (John) Kucharski, Eleanor (Ron) Gill, and brothers Larry (Marilyn) Gyssels and George (Marguerite) Gyssels.

Forever remembered by many nieces and nephews and extended family. Angie worked as an office secretary for Kent County health board unit and was later employed by the Roman Catholic separate school board as a school secretary until her retirement. She enjoyed golfing, day tripping, gardening and the Toronto Blue Jays. She was a member of the St. Ursula’s Catholic Women's League.

A Private Family Visitation and Mass will be celebrated with interment at Maple Leaf Cemetery in Chatham. Arrangements are entrusted to the Hinnegan-Peseski Funeral Home, Chatham.
