Uncle Gerry, even though I’m not your blood niece there will always be a special place in my heart for you. Ever since I was a young girl you watched out for me and made sure I was doing alright. As I got older I found myself driving over to Pane st just to check in on you and bring you a Boston crème doughnut lol as soon as I poked my head around the corner into your room you’d get the biggest smile on your face and say “Well hey there pretty lady how you doing?” I would smile every time even if I was having the worst day. You always told me that things would get better and to not count myself out just yet. Thank you for always keeping me going just by being you. I’ll miss you forever and I will never forget you or the impact you had on my life. I love you. ❤️
