Obituary of Laure Palin

Peacefully at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance on Sunday May 4, 2025, Laure Palin, age 86, of Pain Court.  Beloved wife of the late Jean Mathias Palin (2012).  Born in Chute St. Phélippe, Quebec in 1938, daughter of the late Germaine (Parent) and Ernest Lanthier.  

Loving mother of Mike Palin (Kim), Francine Waekens (Blair), Gaetan Palin (Roxanne Shaw), Sylvie Blair (Kevin), Sylvain Palin (Cheri), Jean Palin Jr. (Kathy-Jo) and Yvon Palin (Katie). Sadly missed by 25 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson.  Dear sister of Pierrette, Nicole, Maurice, Gilles and Dennis.  She will also be missed by several nieces and nephews. 

Predeceased by her siblings Jeannine, Jeannette, Jean-Paul and Pierre. 

Friends and relatives may visit at the Hinnegan Peseski Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham (519-352-5120) on Wednesday May 7, 2025 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm.  A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday May 8, 2025 at 12 pm in Immaculée Conception Church, Pain Court.  

Cremation will follow.
