Obituary of Janice Lou Vadovic

Suddenly at her residence in Chatham, on Sunday May 4, 2025, Janice Lou Vadovic, beloved wife of the late Frank Vadovic (2016) at the age of 71 years.  Born in Windsor in 1953, daughter of the late Ralph Smith, Beverley (Bourdeau) and step-father Francis Bourdeau. 

         

Loving mother of Aaron Vadovic (Angel), Brandon Vadovic (Sara) and Tawnya Tapper (Dan). Cherished grandmother of Coral Malott (Steve), Chloe, Karissa, Lola and Emma and great grandmother of Chevy, Raylan, Scottley and Elmira.  

 

Janice was the oldest of six children, Kerri-Jo Therrien (Don), Edgar Bourdeau (Sandra), Bobbie Bourdeau (Scott), Nicole Bourdeau, Lori Bourdeau (Debbie). She was an aunt to numerous nieces and nephews and a friend to many. 

 

Janice fiercely loved her family, especially her grandkids/great grandkids. 

 

She also loved vacationing, especially in Cuba which she did annually with a number of her closest friends, who will miss her dearly. She is predeceased by a son, Nathan (1978). 

         

Friends and relatives may visit at the Hinnegan Peseski Funeral Home Ltd., 156 William St. S. Chatham from 10-11 am on Tuesday May 13, 2025. 

         

A Memorial Service will be conducted in the Chapel of the Funeral Home on Tuesday May 13, 2025 at 11 am with Rev. Greg Simpson as the celebrant.

 

Burial will be with her husband Frank in St. Anthony’s Cemetery.

 

 Donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
