Q: What will you miss most about Richard?
A: Myself and my family have known Richard for years and most of my life. From Summers on Harsens Island, to the many boat shows, seeing Artie Shaws Band at Metropark, trips across Lake Michigan on the
SS Badger, Thanksgiving with Family and Friends, to New Years Downtown seeing the Rat Pack or Andrew Zonjic and the many dinners at the River Crab or Voyageur. Rick was always cheerful, happy to see you and a wealth of knowledge. It was always fun listening to his many stories, and who could ever forget that infectious laugh. Richard will be missed by all who knew him. Rest in peace, old friend.

I loved Rick like a brother. We shared alot of the same interest. History, music, gameing, He was a beautiful person. I will miss him and think of him every day for the rest of my life. I'll meet him again someday. God bless Mary.

Dear Mary,
Earl and I were recently talking about the great day we had at your home for the Kentucky Derby in 2019. Our son Noah was sad to hear about his train buddy. We will be watching the service on Thursday from N Ireland. Our thoughts are with you Mary. Love Dawn, Earl, Isaac and Noah Aiken.

Dear Mary,
I was heartbroken when you told me of Rick's passing. Please accept my deepest condolences. I can only imagine how great your loss must be, and I want you to know that you are in my heart and prayers.
I'll always treasure the memories I have of Rick. It was such a joy to see his face light up whenever I brought Julia home from a visit - his warmth and delight were unmistakable. His passion for trains and the Titanic - he had a way of speaking that turned my passing interest into a genuine thirst to know more. His enthusiasm, kindness, and curiosity left a lasting impression on me.
I am so grateful for the friendship I shared with Rick. He will be dearly missed.
With Love & Sympathy,
Wendy Lusk

Dear Mary
Garry and I send you our deepest sympathy on the death of Rick.
We remember the many good times we shared during our visits over the last 12 years.
Rick had many interests. We remember the joy Rick took in operating the train layout he had set up at the house at Lighthouse Cove. Of course he had to have his engineer's cap on! He was quite the expert on WW2 and certainly enjoyed movies on that topic. We have fond memories of the time spent on the cuise we took together and we know how much he loved your "fur" babies especially Julia.
Rick endured many health issues over the last few years. I am certain he knew how well you, Mary, looked after him to provide the best quality of life as possible for him.
Mary, your faith and memories will sustain you in the years to come.
Rest eternal grant unto Rick and may light perpetual shine upon him.
Much love
Sharon and Garry
