Dave loved the team he worked with at Libby Glass Company in Wallaceburg Ontario. It was hard work but as many Wallaceburg families were employed there..it was a respected occupation. If they hadn't left for Mexico, he would have retired there. Life happens, and then it is snatched away.

My dad was the biggest chapter in my life we had so many memories together from growing up to adulthood . My dad raised me on his own and was so proud of me . We did have our village Grandma, Grandpa, Ann-marie, Catherine& Connie all took turns so he could work when I was young . He was the hardest working man I knew and valued all the efforts he did for me . He has shaped me to the woman I am today . He showed me the value in life and to make time for family , he truly loved all his family . Our love for one another was like no other but always treasured what we had .He was a giver and always helping a hand with nice smile and beer in hand . I know as being his daughter I have those same traits in myself . He always took the time to show me things if it was cooking ( he was always the great cook with best cut of meat ), gardening (we had 3 gardens ) , camping fun and many other memories . In my heart I will always be daddy’s little girl and loved my dad so much beyond words can say . I dearly miss our visits and daily phone calls no matter if we had anything to say to one another . Till we meet again Dad love you always and forever .
Love
Julie

I had the good fortune of growing up down the street from the Foulon family, and got to experience Dave's joy for life and kind heart first hand. Dave was always willing to help and guide us "younger" neighbourhood lads, and he was one of my favourite baseball coaches and Sea Cadet CPO's. The Forhan Street gang grew up to be good and caring people, and lots of that was due to the fine example Dave gave to us. Over the years, I would bump into Dave, and he always had that same big smile and enthusiasm, caring more about everyone else than for himself. I will remember Dave for his especially kind heart and his interest in those around him. My condolence to the Foulon family.

Third times a charm we always smile
And years of joy made life worthwhile
Now that I am not coming home
I want my loved ones to know, I still roam...
I roam the streets where I grew up.
I see my grampa and grandma for many a steak sup.
We'd cut the grass, We'd fish all night
Life was good til those mosquitoes bite.
I raised my girl, so proud I am and
I found 3 more that changed my life...
When I met their mum Jeanine, my wife.
We travelled here, we travelled far.
Life was good, by plane or car.
We had a system, of silent comfort
Now the comfort of Silence is all we have.
I am at peace, "WHAT'S THAT YOU SAY?"
Good Bye Good Buddy 10 4 and..
See you on the other side...
