Obituary of Doug Segee

Peacefully at the Chatham-Kent Hospice on Friday May 30, 2025, Samuel Douglas “Doug” Segee, age 71 of Chatham.  Born in Windsor in 1953 son of the late Ida (Timbers) and Rev. John Segee.  Beloved husband of Deborah Mullins-Segee. 

 

Loving father of Dougie, Chris (Lori), Alicia, Everett “George” (Nicole), Larissa (Levaughn), Samuel (Amber) and step father of Kim, Karyn, Kris, Kacy and David.  Cherished grandfather of Jennifer, Dyllian, Taylor, Alicia, Travis, Brooklyn, Dacian, Amari, Stephon, Tatiana, Savannah, Ava, Dionte, Messiah, Ryan, Tevin, Olivia, Ahishar, Terrell, Cienna, Carter, MJ and many great grandchildren.  Dear brother of Lydia, Rev. Christina-Annette, Rosemary and Rev. Sharon-Ann. 

 

Doug will also be sadly missed by several nieces and nephews, his Brentwood Family, his Voice of Triumph Family and his Praise Fellowship family. 

 

He is predeceased by his siblings Rev. Leona Wright, Robert “Sweet Daddy”, William Arthur, Betty-Jane and Delfreda Lajean. 

 

Friends and relatives may visit at Praise Fellowship Church (165 Park Ave. E) on Friday June 6, 2025 from 2-6 PM and again on Saturday June 7, 2025 from 11 AM until the time of funeral service at 1 PM. 

 

Burial will follow in B.M.E. Cemetery, North Buxton.

 

Donations to Voice of Triumph Ministries or the Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation would be appreciated.
