Lorreta --My sincere sympathy to you at this time of your brother's passing. You are now the matriarch of the Zinc family. I didn't know your brother at all, but i always knew where the Zinc home was "in the German settlement ' as my grandparents described it..
.i have so many fond memories of you in nursing.
This is the first time i knew that Claudia Wilcox was your sister. I knew her, and loved talking with her. I don't know what it was that was a common bond between us. Maybe she led 4H when I did. Maybe because she frequented the local general store in McKay's Corners where you could do ALL your shopping in about 3 aisles, in about five minutes ,and take it all home in five paper bags for five or ten dollars. My husband believed in supporting local, and so did Bill.
My daughter just came in and I mentioned her, and Jane said "Oh, she was such a lovely lady. She reminded me of my grandmother, with her apron on"..
Thinking of you at this time.

To the Zink Family...Phil was a very nice person and fun to talk to. I was privilege to join John Masterson and Don Smith to have lunch with Phil a number of times and to reminisce of how we use to farm long time ago when I was a teenager. I will miss that.
Rest in peace Phil.

Letty, Larry and the whole Zink family- I send my sincere condolences to you at the passing of Phil. We were in the same grade at St. Francis School. He seemed quite quiet but a very nice person.

My thoughts are with Phil's family and especially Letty and Larry in his loss in your lives. Be assured of my prayers for Phil and all of you at this time. Since I am not able to attend his farewell in person I will be with you all in spirit at that time. May Phil rest in peace as he joins those family and friends who have gone before him. Blessings to each of you.

I worked with Phil at St. Joseph's parish for many years. He was always so caring and told great stories at coffee break. Rest easy Phil.

We came to know Phil and became friends when he was delivering newspapers in our neighborhood. He was a friendly and kind person. He always had a treat for our dog and would stay for a chat and catch up
