Obituary of Philip "Phil" Zink

Peacefully, surrounded by loved ones at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance on Saturday June 14, 2025, Philip “Phil” Albert Zink of Chatham passed away in his 81st year. Born in Chatham in 1944, he was raised in Harwich township, son of the late Florence (Faubert) and Joseph L. Zink.

 

He is survived by sister Loretta (James) Robertson and brother Larry (Annette) Zink and several nieces and nephews. He will also be missed by many friends and neighbours both past and present.

 

Predeceased by his sisters Mary Florence (late Charles) Keech, Claudia (late Bill) Wilcox and his brother Donald (late Monica) Zink. 

 

As per Phil’s wishes cremation has taken.  Friends and relatives may visit at the Hinnegan Peseski Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham on Monday June 30, 2025 from 11:30 AM until the time of a funeral service at 1:30 PM. 

 

Burial will follow in Maple Leaf Cemetery.
