Obituary of Mary Ella French

At Chatham-Kent Health Alliance Chatham Campus, on Monday June 16, 2025, Mary Ella Johnson-French passed away at the age of 70.

Born in Wallaceburg in 1955 daughter of Ella (Baughman) Johnson of Chatham and the late Raymond Johnson. 

Loving mother to daughters Randi French, Krista French, Alisha Libert and son Shawn McCullough. She is predeceased by sister Heather Bloome and brothers Michael Johnson and Joe Johnson.

She will be missed by her sisters Margaret Lavoie and Doreen Stonefish and brother David Johnson and her grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

As were Mary’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.

The Hinnegan Peseski Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham is in charge of arrangements.
