Obituary of Pasquale Melillo
Pasquale Lorenzo Melillo
August 9, 1948 – July 22, 2025
With heavy hearts and deep sorrow, we announce the sudden passing of Pasquale Lorenzo Melillo on July 22, 2025.
Pasquale was born on August 9, 1948, in Atripalda, Italy, and spent his early years in the town of Castelvetere Sul Calore—a place that remained close to his heart throughout his life. He was the beloved son of the late Salvatore Melillo and Amelia Sullo.
Pasquale was a devoted husband to Maria Melillo and a proud father to Salvatore (Jennifer), Paulo (Sue), Adriano (Anabela), and Amelia (Steve). He was a deeply loved Nonno to Nicolas (Jayden), Evan, Eliana, Elesio, Mya, Leland, and Samantha, and a joyful Bisnonno to his great-granddaughter Wrenley.
He was also a cherished son-in-law to Antoinette Calabrese and the late Alfio Calabrese, and a beloved brother-in-law to Carmen (Adrien), Josie (Mark), Diana, and Joe (Antonella). Pasquale was adored by many nieces and nephews, all of whom held a special place in his heart.
Pasquale was the embodiment of the hardworking Italian spirit. He built a successful concrete business and was known as someone who could fix anything. Always ready to help a neighbour, friend, or family member, his hands built more than concrete—they built a life of service, love, and resilience.
He was immensely proud of his Italian heritage and returned to Italy often to reconnect with his roots, his family, and lifelong friends. Though he hadn’t been back in the past year, he often spoke of making one more trip to visit the people and places he held so dear.
Pasquale’s legacy is one of love, strength, humility, and unwavering devotion to family. His memory will continue to live on in all who knew and loved him.
