Obituary of Donnajean Tremblay

At the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, on Thursday July 31, 2025, Donna Jean Tremblay, age 91. 

Born in Dover Township in 1934, daughter of the late Eva (Thorpe) and Lorne Gillett. Beloved wife of the late Emile Tremblay (1995). 

Loving mother of Cheryl Ann Burggraaf and the late Raymond Burggraaf (2024). Cherished grandmother of Margaret (Roy) Bray, Erik (Bryanna) Burggraaf, Jonathan (Ashley) Burggraaf, Elizabeth (Daniel) Zwart, Emily (Ryan) Fousert, Dannielle Bueckert and Terri-Lynn Rich and great grandmother of Nathaniel, Josiah, Gilead, Micah, Michelle, Cameron, Logan, Mikayla, Josalynn, Jessyka, Lily, Wren, Nora, Elena, Hezekiah and Kyla. 

She is predeceased by 2 daughters; Catherine Bueckert and Margaret Tremblay and a granddaughter Michelle Lee Bueckert. 

Friends and relatives may visit at the Hinnegan Peseski Funeral Home Ltd., 156 William St. S. Chatham from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm on Monday August 4, 2025 and again on Tuesday August 5, from 9:00 am till 10:00 am at Living Hope Free Reformed Church, 159 Gregory Dr. E., Chatham. 

A Funeral Service will then be conducted in the Church at 10:00 am with Pastor Tim Bergsma officiating. 

Burial will be in Maple Leaf Cemetery, Chatham.
