Predeceased by his parents Philip (1979) and Elizabeth (Betty 2021) Carruthers, infant daughter Claire, and son Cameron (1992).  Bill loved being Papa to eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He will be sadly missed by several nieces and nephews.   He retired from the K.C.R.C school board after 35 years as a teacher and principal.

The Military was a big part of Bill's life, joining the Essex and Kent Scottish Regiment in 1958 and retired from the Association in 2022.

He enjoyed summers at the cottage at Rondeau Park with family and friends and after retirement spent many winters in the Bahamas.

Special thanks to Blake Harding for always being there for us.
