Deepest heartfelt sympathy to all of Helen’s families. She was an elegant lady. When ever we spoke she always called me “LIDOSKA”. Czech for Lillian. My sister Georgina & your mom were lifetime friends. Remembering: the two of them picking me up & sitting me up on a wooden fence. (Maybe i was 2-3) . The Nemecek family lived on Wood street then , I ,believe the location is still there. Your great memories Will surely replace your sadness now. Praying god grants her eternal rest . To the family of Helen, please accept my sincere sympathies. Helen worked for my father, Allen Hughes, at Ostranders for many years. I worked for dad on Friday nights and Saturdays and met and worked with Helen. She was always dressed lovely and treated customers with respect and kindness. We had lots of fun and laughs during those days, especially on sidewalk days! I cannot believe she was 96! You were lucky to have her in your life that many years. Our sincere sympathy to you all. Your Mom and our Mother/mother in law worked together at the jewellery store over 54 years ago. Your parents came to our wedding.
