Obituary of Yvonne Stephanie Sys

At Hotel-Dieu Grace, Windsor, on Saturday October 18, 2025, Yvonne Stephanie Sys, age 90. 

Born in Stekene, Belgium in 1935 daughter of the late Valarie (Van Gaever) and Alphonse Creve. 

Beloved wife of the late Maurice Sys (2003).  Loving mother of Ramona (Salvatore) Amormino and Ron Sys (Brenda). Cherished grandmother of Selena, Michael and Sawyer. 

She is predeceased by 2 brothers; Georges and Flor Creve.

Yvonne came to Canada in 1956 and was a member of Blessed Sacrament Church.

Cremation has taken place and a graveside service was held in St. Anthony’s Cemetery.

The Hinnegan Peseski Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham was in charge of arrangements.
