Obituary of Jacqueline Viola Sosnowski

With profound sadnesss, we announce the sudden passing of Jackie Sosnowski on December 21, 2025, at London University Hospital, at the age of 70.

Born in Hamilton on November 24, 1955. Daughter of the late Vi (Heaslip) and Ross Yeomans. Married 51 years and beloved wife of Ed Sosnowski. Loving mother of Darrell (Julie) and Danielle (Lee). Cherished grandmother of Paige (Tyler), Liam, Mya, Brody and Zoey. She is survived by her brother Ross (Cathy) and sister-in-law Helen (Joe) and numerous nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by her parents Vi and Ross Yeomans and by her dear in-laws Nora and Chester Sosnowski.

Jackie adored her grandchildren and would do anything for them – never missing a karate event, dance recital, baseball or hockey game. She was always there, cheering them on, and spoiling them with her boundless love and attention.

She loved the outdoors and treasured time spent with her faithful dog, Chase.

She was known for her kind and generous spirit, her warmth, and her unwavering love for family and friends. Jackie was deeply loved and will be missed tremendously by all who knew her.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Hinnegan Peseski Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham from 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM on December 26, 2025. A funeral service will be conducted in the Chapel at 1:00 PM.
