Peacefully surrounded by his family at Victoria Hospital London on February 3, 2026 at the age of 72.
Richard Joseph Peltier of Pain Court, Beloved Husband of 44 years to Delores Ann Peltier (St. Pierre). Born in Chatham on April 19, 1953 to the late Clarissa Peltier (Jenner) and Donat Peltier.
Loving father of Ryan (Jamie) Peltier and Christine (Lee) Griffore. Cherished Pépé to Riley, Emily, Blake, Celia, Sadie and Bryce.
Dear brother of Ron Peltier and Claudette Johnston. Predeceased by his siblings Pat Ouellette, Shirley Blair, Mary Lou Flenniken and Bob Peltier.
Brother in Law to Doreen Faubert, Bernice St. Pierre, Jeanette (Bill) Yeck, Edward (Eileen) St. Pierre, Linda (Bob) Lozon, Vincent St. Pierre, Gary St. Pierre, Larry (Bernice) St. Pierre and Lorraine Lozon. Predeceased by many brothers and sisters in law.
Loving Uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Rick drove truck for 50 years with Ron Peltier Trucking making many friends along the way. He was known for his old blue Ford pick-up truck, his cowboy boots and love of country music. Often enjoying his get togethers with his crews at Tim Hortons, Mc Donald's and The Central. He kept a smile on his face that he happily shared with everyone that he met. He will be deeply missed by all.
Friends and family may visit at the Hinnegan-Peseski Funeral Home Ltd. 156 William Street S. Chatham on Friday February 6, 2026 from 2-4 and 6-8. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday February 7, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church, Pain Court. Burial will take place at Immaculate Conception Cemetery following the mass.
