Loved Vera like a second mom, especially when I stayed with the Studnicka’s before Gail and I went off to college. I always told Gail, she always liked me best…but seriously she loved and worried about her family dearly. It is wonderful she had a long life, and so many friends and she stayed active. Condolences to the entire family.

Knowing Vera had passed, we still feel a deep sense of loss. In the short time we were blessed to know her, she truly touched our lives in a meaningful way. During a time of need, we grew closer, and it was an absolute honor to be there for her.
Vera was an extraordinary and wise woman who loved sharing stories of her past. She spoke with such pride about her life, her home, and most of all, her family, whom she cherished deeply. Her strength, warmth, and spirit will always stay with us.
We extend our heartfelt condolences to her son David and daughter-in-law Beth, and to her daughter Gail and son-in-law Jimmy, along with the entire family. Please know you are all in our thoughts during this difficult time.
Thank you, Vera, for your friendship. You taught us so much, and we will always be grateful. We will continue to carry forward the strength and determination you showed us as we move ahead.

My heart is with you her family ..so deeply loved by my dear friend Vera. My favourite recent memory of Vera happened on our last visit before her hospital time. After a quiet evening with Rosie (my puppy} we all settled down for the night.. in the wee hours I woke up to No Vera. Frightened for her well being I checked the living room. There she was at ease sleeping in her lazy boy with Rosie curled up on her tummy. Such a peaceful memory of those 2 buddies!p

My mom was Julia (Mojzis) Kozlof. Vera stood up in my parents wedding Oct 25, 1947.
Vera attended mom's funeral. We had her celebration of life on her birthdate Dec 30th, 2024. She lived just 5 days short of 101 years.
They were cousins.
Vera was such a nice lady, and my family spoke fondly of her.

Dear Studnicka Family,
I recall my parents, Joe & Mary Mojzis who were also born in Radejov, take us to visit Vera at her parents place. She used to come to CZech activities at
St Anthony’s Church. Vera had a joyful personality with a sense of humor. She took pride in dressing nice
& wearing makeup. I last saw her 2 yrs ago when she came to the funeral of my 100 yr old Aunt Julie Kozlof.
She lived a full life. Peace & comfort to your family.

Dave,Gail and family. I am so sorry for your loss
For the first 10 years of Sarah’s life and the first 8 years of carters life, Vera was in our lives as their bobby sitter . Vera was their bonus grandmother, cook,friend,and listener, and above all , she was always there to welcome my children with open arms every day when they came home from school.
Our friendship grew during those years and continued until her passing. I was fortunate enough to see her just a couple days before her passing.
What can I say about Vera? She was everything to me and she loved my children as if they were her own. Anyone who has to work outside the home would be so lucky to have a “ Vera” in their lives. Vera was my childrens “ influencer”
I will miss our get-together — playing cards and going out for lunch together. I feel lucky to have had Vera in my life for the past 31 years. I am so sad but feel fortunate to have known her.
