Our sincere condolences to Sharon and family in the loss of Gail.
Auntie Gail may not have been a true aunt by family to us, but she was by the love and friendship she shared with me and our family. I will remember her as a generous donor to all the swim-a-thons as a swimmer with CYPS during my childhood.
Gail was with us for countless years at Christmas as a child, young man, husband and father. She shared her smiles, warm love and caring with all of us always asking what everyone was up to and proud of our accomplishments.
We know she is at peace and missed greatly.
Michael, Deanna, Elizabeth, Katherine and Nicholas Johnson.

Gail will be dearly missed and while she wasn’t family by blood, she was like an aunt to us in all the ways that mattered.
What we will remember most is her warm smile, kindness, and caring nature that made you feel instantly at ease. Holidays won’t feel the same without her. Christmas, Thanksgiving, and birthdays are just a few of the moments where her presence was just part of it all. The laughter, conversations, and the quiet ways she made those days feel complete.
We were so glad we were able to get together with her this past August, spending the afternoon catching up. She was always interested in what was happening in our lives as we were in hers. That’s how we will remember her, in the warmth she left behind and in the space she filled so naturally in the lives of those who knew her.
Rest in peace.
Mark, Monica, Breanna, and Alayna Johnson

I first met Gail when I was about 16 through Sharon. If you can imagine, we were doing a show. I remember her being steadfast and a comfort. I lost touch with Gail for most of my life but last year she reached out on Facebook. She would send happy little messages in response to my statuses. I feel grateful having her reconnect with me late in life. Sharon, I am sending love, hugs and prayers to you and your family.

Sharon & Family - I was so sorry to read of Gail's passing. We have lost touch over the years but I do have many memories of when we were much younger. I especially remember the time we drove Gail's Mini Morris to visit Sharon in Toronto. I thought we would never get there or home as her car would not go over a certain speed (slow) on 401 but we made it and had a good time doing it.
So sorry we didn't keep in touch more!

Sharon, Keith & Families…Dennis and I are so saddened about Gail’s passing. We were neighbours on Stanley Ave. When she lived with Mary, then she moved further down the street. I always enjoyed running into Gail to catch up on what the sisters were up to. From golfing, to tapping, the Legion, the library and so much more. Rest in peace Gail. I know you will be very missed, but never forgotten. Take care of yourselves and each other.
