Obituary of Veronica Valerie Scott

Suddenly at her residence in Chatham, on Saturday March 28, 2026, Veronica Valerie Scott, age 79.  Born in Chatham in 1946 daughter of the late Keitha (Scott) and Norval Wilson. 

Loving mother of Belinda Childs and her children Immanuel, Sophie, Grace, Mark’ee and Donald, Emma Jane Scott and her husband Darrell Simpson and their sons Davon and Darrell Scott. Son Kevin Boswell and Children Taylor and Justin. Dear God Mother to Claude Evans and Tracy Evans.

Cherished sister of Ann Marie, Sharon, Lenora Birkby, Debbie Handsor, Leonard and David Wilson, Sandy Scott. Missed by her 11 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.  She is predeceased by her son Curtis Scott and siblings Len Freeman, Glen Freeman and Darci Morton.

Friends and relatives may visit at the Hinnegan Peseski Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham from 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM on Wednesday April 1, 2026.  A Chapel Service will be conducted in the funeral home on Wednesday April 1, 2026 at 12:00 PM with Rev. Robert VanDusen officiating.

Cremation will follow.
