Obituary of Margaret Ann Doman
It is with the heaviest of hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Margaret “Ann” Doman (née Jackson) at the age of 84, on Friday, April 10, 2026, at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance. Ann is now reunited with her beloved husband, Ken Doman.
She will be forever cherished and deeply missed by her loving family: Karen and Alan Pinsonneault, Cindy and Rick Rosseel, Joni Doman and Lawrence Swift, Scott Doman, and Linda Doman and Brad Hillman. She was predeceased by her adored daughters, Cheri Doman and Wendy Doman.
A proud and devoted “Grandma Annie,” Ann will be deeply missed by Eric Pinsonneault; Stefanie (Ryan) Morrison; Amber (Kyle) Hitchcock; Chantelle Pinsonneault (Carl); Ryan (Jasmina) Parker; Scott (Melissa) Parker; Jason Carruthers (Melissa); Cassondra (Dwayne) Amyotte; Joshua (Brittney) Doman; Lyndsay (Joshua) Doan; Jordyn (Austin) Turkington; Lucas Verscheure; and Casey Verscheure. She was a cherished “GG” to 22 great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her caring brother-in-law, Bill (Beverly) Doman; her sister, Gail Dunne, her sister-in-law, Marjorie Jackson and; brother Alan Jackson. Ann was predeceased by her siblings: Dorothy Welker, Maxine (Austin) Beard, Myrle (Abe) Zimmer, Tom (Rita) Jackson, and Ken Jackson.
Ann will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews and extended family, including Charlene (Jim) Zruna, Jacob, Jennifer, Christina and families along with Robert (Kristy) Krisza, Brandon as well as Myles (Kathleen) Swift and their children, Kevyn (Jessica) Swift and their children, and Wilyam Swift.
Ann was a long-serving employee and proud retiree of Bell Canada, and part of a close knit group of lifelong friends. She loved her family deeply and wholeheartedly. She found joy in life’s simple pleasures—good company, plenty of snacks, a cold Bud Light in a glass, and a Hallmark movie. She especially loved celebrating and decorating for the holidays, and her family will carry on her festive spirit in her memory, always.
Friends and family will be received at Hinnegan-Peseski Funeral Home on Friday, April 17, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m., with a short service to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ann’s memory may be made to the Chatham-Kent Hospice.
