Peacefully at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham, on May 20, 2026, Marie Velena "Evelyn" Couture, age 95. Born in Dover on April 2, 1931, daughter of the late Edger and Albina Demers (Labadie).
Beloved wife of the late Lionel Couture (2003). Loving mother of the late Eileen Fitzpatrick (2024) (Pat), Robert Couture (2022) and late infant daughter Marie (1952).
Friends and relatives may visit at the Immaculée Conception Church from 10-11 AM on Friday May 22, 2026.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on May 22, 2026 at 11:00 AM. Burial will take place following mass at Immaculée Conception Cemetery.
Donations to the Charity of one’s Choice would be appreciated.
