Jen, Brian, Carsen and Ava,
Thinking of you and your family. I hope that many treasured memories of your Grandma/ Great-Grandma will bring you comfort during this time of sadness.
It's been a while since I've seen you, but I had to write to let you know that I am also a descendant of the DeLorme Family from Wallaceburg. My grandmother, Veronica DeLorme was Theresa's first cousin. (Their fathers were brothers.) It certainly is a small world!.
Take care!

Aunt Theresa is finally at peace, wrapped in the warmth she gave so freely in life. I like to think of her up in heaven now, reunited with all her family — laughing, cooking, playing cards and bringing that same sweetness she shared with us here. It brings comfort to imagine her surrounded by love, whole and safe, watching over us with that gentle spirit we’ll never forget.
Some of my favorite memories were her meat pies and butter tarts — little masterpieces that somehow tasted like comfort, home, and love all at once. They weren’t just recipes; they were rituals. They were the way she gathered people, the way she cared for us without needing big words. Every flaky crust and warm filling was her heart on a plate.
Rest peacefully, Aunt Theresa. Thank you for every call, every conversation, every bit of sweetness you brought into my life. I’ll miss you more than words can say.
