Obituary of Humberto Rodrigues

Peacefully at Riverview Gardens, Chatham, on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, Humberto Rodrigues, at the age of 96 years.

Born in Portugal in 1930, son of the late Bernadina (deAssuncao) and Antonio Rodrigues. Beloved husband of Henriqueta Lopes-Teixeira Rodrigues. Loving father of Victor (Heather) and Carla (Steve), and also sadly missed by his grandchildren Nikolai (Deirdre), Chantelle, Johnathan, Emily (Nate), and Nicholas.

Humberto was a proud member of the Portuguese Canadian Social Club of Chatham, where he enjoyed spending time with friends and watching soccer as well as attending multiple events. He also loved and could often be found in his garden.

Friends and relatives may visit at the Hinnegan Peseski Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham from 6-8 pm on Wednesday, May 27, 2026.

Funeral Mass will be conducted in St. Joseph Church, on Thursday, May 28, 2026 at 10 am. Burial will follow in St. Anthony’s Cemetery.
