Suddenly at his residence in Chatham, on Saturday June 6, 2026, Darren Anthony Laforet, age 61 of Chatham.
Born in Windsor in 1965 son of the late Claire (Gagnon) and Edward Campeau. Loving father of Taylor Laforet and cherished grandfather of Reyden, Remington and Rexton.
Dear brother of Chris (Jen) Laforet, Al (Lori) Laforet, step brother of Dan (Robin) Campeau. He is predeceased by a step brother Duane Campeau (1996). Also sadly missed by several nieces and nephews.
Darren was an avid hunter and fisherman.
In keeping with the family’s wishes, cremation has taken place.
Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
A Memorial Tree was planted for Darren
