Obituary of Wanda Johnston

It is with great sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing of Wanda Johnston, age 93, at home, on July 7, 2026. Born in Chatham on March 9, 1933, daughter of the late Ina and Reginald Pepper.

Beloved wife of Frederick Johnston (Late 1995). Loving mother, leaving behind her 8 children Linda, Patricia (Late 2020), Mary Jane (Rhonda), Madeline (Don late 2019), William (Late 2026)(Debbie), Michael, Johnathan (Late 2022) and Robert (Natalie).

She will be greatly missed by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Friends and relatives may visit at the Hinnegan Peseski Funeral Home Ltd., 156 William St. S. Chatham from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM on July 11, 2026. A Funeral Service will be celebrated on the same day at 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM in Hinnegan- Peseski Funeral Home Ltd. Burial to take place following the funeral service. Luncheon service will follow the burial at 50 Chippewa Drive at 1pm.
