So very very sorry to hear of Joe’s passing. I have known him for a very long time ! When he used to come to my Mom’s and plant gladiolus! Wow what a long time ago I don’t think you were even married then. He lived down the street from Nora & Bob Gillett! Wow!
He was taken from all of you way too soon. My heart goes out to your whole family. Hugs to all of you! My thoughts and prayers go to your whole family! Lots of love to all of you! Take care!

To Sueanne and family, so sorry to hear the loss of Joe. He was a special person. He always talked about his kids and grandkids. I first met Joe when he started working with the school board many years ago. He would come to the Creek and hunt me down and say Briii what's happening. We had some good times with Joe including the Christmas parties and getting together at Bob Crow's. He built my wife's shadow box for her Gordie Howe jersey and did a fantastic job and wouldn't take a dime more than what he had invested in it. He even helped me hang it. We have lost a truly generous man. Till we meet again. R.I.P. my friend. Brian Maynard

Q: What 3 words best describe Joseph and why?
A: He knew best! I just remember going to Erieau beach and Joe wore shorts for the first time in years. The sand was too hot to walk on, so picture a very hot sunny summer day. Joe didn’t need sun screen. Well he got heat stroke and burns on his legs, missed a week of work.
Joe could be frustrating and then he would make you laugh. You will be missed Joe, we know you fought hard to stay with your family, rest now in peace.
