Peacefully, at his residence in Chatham, on Friday, March 21, 2014, Gerald Hector Cadotte, age 74, of Chatham, beloved companion of the late Joan Bock (2012). Born in Chatham, son of the late Laura and Hector Cadotte. Gerald was the owner and operator of G.C. Paving and Aggregate Recycling for many years.
He is survived by his children, Bradly (Amanda) Cadotte, Danielle Cadotte, and Michelle (Dan) DeTurck all of Chatham, and Kevin (Diana) Bock of Lansing, Michigan, and 12 grandchildren. Brother of Joan Gow of London, Herman Cadotte, Chuck DeHauw, and Randy DeHauw all of Chatham. Brother-in-law of Denise Cadotte and John VanZetten. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his sister Diane VanZetten, his brother Roland Cadotte and his sister-in-law Betty Cadotte.
Friends and relatives may visit at the Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham (519-352-5120) on Wednesday, March 26, 2014 from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 PM. A Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Thursday March 27, 2014, at 11 AM with Rev. Susan Jolley officiating
Burial will be in Maple Leaf Cemetery. Donations to the Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
