Obituary of James Beverly "Bev" Prevett

Suddenly at Grand Retirement Living, Chatham on Monday August 28, 2017, James Beverly “Bev” Prevett, age 81, of Chatham, beloved husband of the late Veronica Prevett (2012). 

Born in Chatham in 1936, son of the late Marjorie (Grandbois) and Percy Prevett. 

Bev is a retired Firefighter.

He is survived by his 5 sons; Bev Jr. (Barbara), John (Michele), Jerry (Linda), Jeff (Hazel), and Jayme (Kerry). Sadly missed by 16 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Sadly missed by a daughter-in-law Joanne Prevett and dear brother-in-law of Connie Prevett, Pauline Bramhill and also missed by several nieces and nephews.  

Predeceased by a son Joe Prevett, a sister Jean Garrod and her husband Harold and 2 brothers Robert and Tom Prevett.   

Friends and relatives may visit at the Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham (519-352-5120) on Friday September 1, 2017 from 12:15-1:15 pm.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1:30 pm in St. Joseph’s Church.

Cremation will then follow.
