Peacefully, surrounded by family, at Riverview Gardens Nursing Home, Chatham, on Friday, December 22, 2017, Clelia DeAngelis, age 87, of Chatham, beloved wife of the late Mario DeAngelis (1972).

  Born in Castelvetere sul Calore, Italy, daughter of the late Genoeffa and Antonio Violano.  She is survived by her daughter Maria (Franko) Vuk of Chatham, her son Antonio (Lori) DeAngelis of Mississauga, 5 grandchildren, Fabrizia (Roberto) Romano, Adriana (Anthony) Romano, Andre (Amber) Vuk, Matteo and Gianluca DeAngelis and 4 great grandchildren, Alexa, Lucas, Anthony Joseph, and Isabella.   Also survived by her sister, Mafalda DeCola of Chatham and many nieces and nephews. 

Predeceased by her brother Generoso Violano, and her sisters, Maria Violano, and Esterina Violano.

  Friends and relatives may visit at the Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham (519-352-5120) on Tuesday, December 26, 2017 from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 pm, where Vigil Prayers will be offered at 3 pm.

 A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at 10 am in St. Ursula's Church.

 Burial will be in St. Anthony's Cemetery. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
