Obituary of Herman Van Meerbergen

Peacefully, surrounded by loving family who participated in the sacrament of the annointing of the sick, at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance Chatham Campus, on Saturday April 13, 2024, Herman Van Meerbergen, age 84, beloved son of the late Emma (Lissens) and Joseph Van Meerbergen. 

Loving brother of Guido (Jeannette) Van Meerbergen of London and Maria Nicholson of Windsor.

Dear uncle of Paul (Linda) Van Meerbergen, Kathy (Stephen) Ilines, Patrick (Susan) Van Meerbergen, Peter Van Meerbergen, Lisa (Chris) Wright, Lissa Kuzych, Nicole Oleson (Alan), Jacqui McMenamin, Charlene Smith (Steve), Joey Nicholson (Aniko), & Danielle Nicholson (Robert). Great uncle of twenty-two nieces and nephews. Great, Great uncle of five nieces and nephews.   

Friends and relatives may visit at Hinnegan-Peseski Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham (519-352-5120) on Wednesday, April 24^th from 6-8 pm. 

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, April 25^th at 11:00 am in St. Joseph’s Church.

Burial will be in St. Anthony's Cemetery.
